Our take on Cross Blitz
The focus on card synergies and tactical placement gives each encounter several moving parts, but it also makes progression depend on managing decks, relics, archetypes, and mercenary choices. Players seeking a simpler battle system may find that structure demanding.
What is Cross Blitz?
Cross Blitz is a deckbuilding RPG with turn-based combat on 4x4 battlefields.
Card effects and positioning shape each encounter, while deck synergies support different tactical approaches. The game includes Fables Story Mode, with five heroes and five full-length campaigns, and Tusk Tales, a roguelite mode with randomized maps, escalating opponents, and mercenaries with individual starting decks. Players collect and craft cards, gain levels, use relics, and trigger Blitz Burst finishers. The game contains more than 500 cards, 160 relics, 20 archetypes, and five factions. Tusk Tales also includes daily and weekly hunts, leaderboards, unlockable card backs, and Husks used for mercenary progression or future-run items.
