Our take on Abyssus
Its defining structure is the combination of hand-crafted underwater levels with procedural sequencing, so each roguelite run rearranges the route while weapon mods, divine effects, and other upgrades reshape the combat build.
What is Abyssus?
Abyssus is a fast-paced first-person shooter and roguelite adventure for 1 to 4 players.
Teams of Brinehunters fight corrupted inhabitants across hand-crafted underwater levels arranged differently for each run. Players choose loadouts, skills, suits, and weapon modifications, then combine brine-powered weapons with ancient technologies, Charms, Blessings, and other upgrades. The game includes 9 customizable weapons, 45 weapon mods, more than 140 Ancient Forge mods, over 250 Charms and Blessings, 36 enemy types, and 12 bosses. Progression adds new upgrades, rewards, and tactical choices between runs. Success depends on positioning, coordinated play, and adapting builds while facing mutated guardians in the ruins of a sunken civilization.
