What is OUTBUDDIES DX?
After a shipwreck, maritime archaeologist Nikolay Bernstein wakes in Bahlam, a sunken city deep beneath the South Atlantic, and is connected to a supernatural Buddy unit.
Explore five areas, encounter hostile creatures, solve puzzles, navigate environmental hazards, fight bosses, and free captured Wozan. Climbing, crawling, and diving are available from the start; ancient weapons, suit upgrades, and hacking protocols add further options as the journey continues. The Buddy can map areas and use hacking, scanning, and telekinesis to affect the surroundings. In local co-op, a second player controls the invincible Buddy while the first player explores. The game combines combat and exploration with a story about the Old Gods and Bahlam's inhabitants.
