Store pages are good at telling you what a game is. They rarely tell you who should not buy it. NayPlay exists to answer that second question as plainly as the first: for each of the 45,294 games in the catalogue there is a short list of the players it suits and an equally visible list of the players who are likely to bounce off it.
Who runs NayPlay
NayPlay is made by William Sims, its founder and editor. William built the site, designed the fit check format and reviews the published entries: spot-checking fit checks against the game’s store page, fixing what is wrong and acting on corrections sent in by readers.
NayPlay is a small independent project, not a publisher or a store. It is not affiliated with Valve or with any developer listed here.
What NayPlay is, and is not
- Not a store. You cannot buy anything here, and NayPlay does not list prices: they change often, so check the current price on the store page.
- Store links may earn a commission. Some links to stores can be affiliate links, which means NayPlay may earn a small commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. This never decides which games are listed or what a fit check says.
- No sponsored placements. No developer pays to be listed, ranked or described.
- One format for every game. The same sections in the same order, so games are easy to compare.
- Honest about how it is made. The fit checks are drafted with AI from Steam store data and reviewed by an editor. The full process is on How we write fit checks.
