Play it if you…
Good fit- Action-adventure players who want shooting combined with investigation

Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a tightly linear campaign may find the open-ended investigation less suitable

- Players looking for a purely realistic visual style may not prefer its combination of 3D environments and pixel art
Our take on Town of Machine
The focus on fast combat and open-ended investigation trades away a tightly directed progression. Players move between combat, exploration, and dialogue rather than following a single linear route through the mystery.
What is Town of Machine?
Set 700 years in the future, Town of Machine follows Agent Silverman, an exorcist investigating a missing-person case in a deserted ghost town built from an abandoned city.
With Detective Mason and possible companions, Silverman questions townsfolk, explores the settlement and its underground areas, and investigates the mysteries behind the town. Combat focuses on shooting, alternate weapon functions, dashing through enemies, switching guns, and quick healing. The adventure uses multiple-choice conversations and a non-linear structure, letting exploration and investigation unfold at an individual pace. Its world combines stylized 3D environments with hand-drawn pixel art, while the dialogue, level design, artwork, and item descriptions were created by hand.
