What is Dimension Drifter?
Dimension Drifter is an action shooter set centuries after a timeline collapse, when portals opened and demons spread across a ruined world.
Players take the role of a Drifter, an outcast with special abilities, and progress through missions while uncovering the setting’s mysteries. Levels are assembled randomly for each run from hand-built room pieces, with added mapping rules intended to give them a human-made structure. Progression includes thousands of randomized items that can improve the character, drawing on loot-focused RPG systems. Character appearance can be changed by selecting a male or female Drifter and combining outfits with different colors. The game combines violent action with a pen-and-paper RPG setting developed over 15 years.
