Rather than using a fixed mission sequence, the game makes each raid a variable expedition through changing environments and loot locations. Progress then moves back to an outpost, where quests, skills, crafting, trading, and construction form the inter-raid structure.
What is Blood Running?
Blood Running is an extraction shooter set in a cyber-wasteland shaped by years of anarchy.
Raids send players into randomly generated maps with changing environments, locations, layouts, and loot positions. Players fight creatures and bandits while searching for supplies, valuables, weapons, and secrets. Between runs, Outpost 072 provides quests, characters, daily tasks, and bounties. More than 40 modular guns can be configured around recoil control, accuracy, damage, or ergonomics. Progression includes skill points, crafting, base construction, storage upgrades, permanent perks, and more than 230 collectible items. Building units and decorations can be upgraded to open additional recipes and other base functions.
