What is Prelude Dark Pain?
Play as Soren, a retired warrior who now works as a blacksmith, after an attack on his family draws him into a rebellion against the Order of the Ashen Crusade.
Build a squad of up to 5 heroes from 8 class types, choosing from more than 20 playable characters with two talent branches and 25 skills each. Battles take place on grids with turn-based movement, elevation, environmental changes, enemy factions, and mission-specific challenges. Choices affect the main story and which heroes can be recruited. Explore Statera through sidequests, world missions, settlement raids, resource gathering, and equipment crafting. More than 20 factions and 70 enemy types populate the war-torn setting, including final bosses.
