Our take on Moduwar
The presentation gives major weight to Arkadia’s conflict and the fate of its species, while the playable structure centers on real-time organ management. The story setup is substantial, but the listed modes and mechanics define the experience more directly than the narrative premise.
What is Moduwar?
Moduwar is a real-time strategy game in which a water-dwelling alien creature serves as both commander and army.
Resources allow the creature to grow body tiles and place organs on them, beginning with a heart that must be protected. Organs can be split into individual units for scouting, merged to create abilities, sent into combat, or joined back to the main body. The single-player campaign follows three factions and includes new organ combinations and evolving abilities. Other modes include multiplayer battles for up to 4 players, arena matches, survival against enemy waves, and customizable skirmishes. The setting is Arkadia, where Humans and Chimera have enslaved the native Modu.
