Our take on Evolva
Players seeking a straightforward shooter may hit a wall when they need to combine fast shooting with tactical squad command. The mutation system adds another layer: GenoHunters acquire weapons and abilities by absorbing DNA, rather than relying only on a fixed arsenal.
What is Evolva?
Evolva blends rapid shooting with strategic control of a squad.
Players lead GenoHunters, engineered fighters that absorb DNA and mutate to gain different abilities and armaments. The campaign spans twelve living, alien environments and includes attacks such as burning breath, oversized talons, electricity-based gear, genetic disruption, necrocytes, and combustible vomit. Their changing powers are used against extraterrestrial parasites while working to protect the planet. Multiplayer supports matches through local networks or the internet, with online play also allowing GenoHunters to be traded between players.
