What is Pathway?
Pathway is a turn-based strategy adventure set in 1936, where teams of adventurers explore deserts, bunkers, and temples in Northern Africa.
Each mission uses a randomized map with short story events that present choices and risks. Squad combat centers on cover, positioning, character abilities, and equipment. The game includes five campaigns with different difficulty levels, 16 unlockable characters, tradeable loot, and weapons and armor upgrades. Missions can be replayed with different event sequences and team combinations. A Hardcore Mode links adventures into one sequence, carries equipment and characters forward, and permanently removes team members who die. The game uses 16-bit pixel art with lighting and shadows.
