Our take on Loco Motive
The defining structure is a murder investigation aboard one 1930s steam train, with the story shared across three playable suspects whose paths interconnect.
What is Loco Motive?
A comedy point-and-click adventure set aboard the Reuss Express, a luxurious 1930s steam train where a murder leaves three passengers under suspicion.
Play as Diana, Arthur, and Herman as their connected stories unfold through the investigation. The game combines a mystery with item-based puzzles, twists, slapstick humor, and encounters with suspicious fellow travelers. Character control can use a game controller or mouse and keyboard. A telephone hint line provides assistance during the investigation. The presentation includes pixel art, full voice acting, and an original soundtrack by Paul Zimmermann. The case centers on proving the characters’ innocence while identifying what happened aboard the train.
