Rather than sending players across a broad adventure map, the game centers its mystery inside one submarine and turns individual 3D objects into investigation points. What is The Mermaid Mask?
Investigate the death of Captain Mortuga, found in a sealed room aboard an unusual submarine in the waters beyond a long-abandoned fishing town.
Detective Grimoire and Sally question an eccentric, fully voiced group of suspects while examining clues presented as detailed 3D objects. An ancient stone cauldron may explain the murder, with possible causes ranging from a curse to the actions of a crew member. Exploration covers the submarine’s hand-painted interior, where hidden details can reveal new evidence. The game includes an original soundtrack performed by the Budapest Art Orchestra. Voice audio is available only in English.
