Our take on Legend of Keepers: Career of a Dungeon Manager
Instead of guiding heroes through a dungeon, the game puts the player in charge of defending it. Its structure pairs employee management and trap planning with turn-based fights, replacing the usual expedition through hostile territory with preparation for incoming adventurers.
What is Legend of Keepers: Career of a Dungeon Manager?
Work as a dungeon manager for the Dungeons Company, defending its treasures while advancing through the corporate ladder.
Hire monsters, manage employees, maintain a stock of traps, and deal with events such as employee strikes. Each run combines management decisions with dungeon defense, and some Master bonuses carry over between runs. Before an assault, check the adventurers’ statistics and resistances, then select traps and monsters for the defense. During the crawl, heroes move through the dungeon and trigger the traps placed for them. When adventurers encounter monsters, the fight is turn-based. Rather than sending the player through a dungeon as a crawler, the game puts the player in charge of preparing defenses against groups of heroes.
