Our take on Knightica
Its automated battle structure reduces the role of direct combat control. The focus shifts decision-making toward preparation, positioning, upgrades, and route selection rather than issuing commands throughout each fight.
What is Knightica?
Knightica is a turn-based roguelike auto-battler about guiding an army through dangerous worlds.
Recruit units, choose a commander, select items, and arrange or rotate troops to use their abilities together. Each run includes decisions about routes, encounters, shops, and elite demons. Units can be upgraded, while enchants and demonic souls provide additional ways to shape an army. Players can pursue different approaches, such as building a swarm, searching for complementary allies, or concentrating on resources. Battles feature varied enemies, increasingly difficult areas, and bosses. The objective is to lead the warband through the kingdoms and reach as far as possible.

Shogun Showdown also uses turn-based roguelike structure, but centers on positioning, attack tiles, skills, and deck building against the Shogun. Knightica instead focuses on recruiting an army, arranging units, and developing synergies across a warband.
