Our take on Repel The Rifts
Players who need a fixed map may hit a wall when new terrain is revealed and tower value depends on geography. Those who prefer a single upgrade path may also struggle at the market and artifact choices, which vary across expeditions.
What is Repel The Rifts?
Repel The Rifts is a roguelite tower-defense game set on an alien world.
Players lead a Commander through expeditions against repeated waves of creatures emerging from dimensional rifts. Each wave reveals additional terrain, and different tower types can benefit from different geographical features, making map expansion part of defensive planning. Tower improvements are purchased from a market and may strengthen existing defenses or add effects. Alien artifacts further modify the defense, with combinations to discover during expeditions. Commanders have distinct starting setups, each including three towers, an ability, and a passive trait. The game also includes Endless mode, which becomes available after surviving 25 nights.
