Our take on MINOS
The focus on constructing traps and controlling enemy routes leaves less room for conventional exploration or direct combat. Repeated play centers on rearranging hazards and testing new maze configurations, so players seeking a wide-ranging adventure may find its defensive structure restrictive.
What is MINOS?
MINOS is a maze-building roguelite in which the player controls the Minotaur defending a sanctuary from adventurers.
Each run introduces different enemies, traps, and possible setups. Maze construction uses walls, gates, corridors, rotating passages, and shifting gates to create winding or divided routes. Traps such as spikes, boulders, blades, and fire can be connected through pressure plates, allowing one trigger to set off a sequence of hazards. The game also includes a story about the Minotaur and the person who became it, including a decision about who survives when Theseus arrives.
