Our take on Castle Craft
The emphasis on unrestricted castle creativity understates the structured defense loop: recurring hordes, resource choices, defender training, and escalating enemy traits shape how construction is used. The sandbox is therefore tied closely to siege preparation and campaign progression.
What is Castle Craft?
Castle Craft is a siege sandbox where players build and manage a castle in a destructible voxel environment.
An artisan economy gathers resources and automates construction, while those resources support castle upgrades and defender training. Enemy hordes attack in recurring waves, with units gaining new abilities and traits over time. Players can combine traps, siege weapons, magnets, spikes, wind tunnels, jumping pads, and falling voxels to damage invaders. Magical abilities can reshape the terrain, and physics turns environmental objects into weapons. Players may join battles directly or coordinate their forces, choosing how to divide resources between structures, defenders, and character development during a campaign to expand and defend the kingdom.
