Our take on Beneath Oresa
Rather than treating cards as the main source of tactical decisions, Beneath Oresa ties deck choices to arena positioning. Players can move between zones and manipulate enemy placement, while card upgrades require choosing between two effects with different durations.
What is Beneath Oresa?
Beneath Oresa combines deckbuilding with tactical arena combat in fast-paced missions beneath a city.
Choose a hero and a companion, then select cards, upgrades, and artifacts as each run develops. Companions bring eight unique powers, creating many possible hero pairings. Positioning affects combat: line up enemies for attacks, move between zones to avoid hits, or arrange foes so they collide. Card upgrades present a choice between two options, such as a bonus lasting one round or one lasting the whole fight. The game includes several factions, heroes with unique abilities, daily missions, and additional mechanics connected to its roguelike and tactical structure.
