Our take on Moon Corona
The broad build system trades fixed character roles for greater setup and decision load. Cards, class paths, movement, terrain, and faction interactions all affect combat, making encounters require more planning than a straightforward action-focused RPG.
What is Moon Corona?
Moon Corona is a dark-themed sandbox RPG set across the Duchy of Reinhart.
Exploration covers castles, wilderness, villages, cities, cathedrals, and dungeons, where encounters and decisions can alter the story. Cards gathered during the journey form a customizable deck, with class-based and universal cards supporting different combat approaches. The game begins with five base classes and offers more than 40 advanced classes. Battles combine movement, positioning, dodging, terrain use, spacing, and attacks against enemy weak points. Factions can also be turned against one another. The story follows a conflict involving the crown and church, with the player pursuing lost truths and redemption.
