Our take on Battle Suit Aces
The store presentation gives equal weight to a replayable roguelite and a long campaign, but the roguelite’s progression is described mainly through broad rewards such as cards, lore, and ships. The core moment-to-moment structure remains card combat built around lanes, pilots, drones, and modifiers.
What is Battle Suit Aces?
Battle Suit Aces combines card-based tactical battles with a story campaign and a roguelite mode.
In the campaign, players recruit pilots, improve their battle suits, customize ships and cards with mods, and guide the Patchworks crew through 45 episodes. Combat uses lane-based attacks, drones that generate energy, Command Cards, and card passives. The crew includes 25 recruitable pilots from five factions, while all 75 characters have voice performances. The roguelite mode focuses on building a different deck during each run from pilots, drones, and Battle Suit modifications. Progression opens lore, cards, and ships, and Daily Runs add leaderboard competition. Story encounters include surprise attacks, heists, and Starball matches.
