Our take on Void War
Players may bounce off the ship-management layer before combat begins, especially when balancing weapons, modules, reactor power, and upgrade combinations. Crew customization and boarding actions add another system to manage once recruits from the six factions join the ship.
What is Void War?
Void War is a spacefaring RPG with strategy and simulation elements.
Players command an ancient starship through combat against cultists, pirates, and Imperial soldiers while moving toward the center of a declining empire. Ship management combines weapons, modules, and reactor power, while artifacts and other upgrades can be arranged into combinations for combat. Crew members can be recruited from six factions, equipped with wargear, and sent into boarding actions against enemy ships. Each run includes hundreds of randomly generated encounters that create a different sequence of events. Characters and groups encountered in the galaxy can be recruited or fought, and player choices affect the ship and its crew.

Void War compared to similar games
Void War combines starship management, crew recruitment, boarding actions, and randomly generated encounters. Quasimorph is also a high-stakes roguelike RPG, but its described structure centers on corporate contracts, extraction, and strengthening a PMC through successful missions rather than commanding a starship and crew across an empire.
