Our take on Dream Tactics
Rather than giving each character a fixed set of combat actions, the game builds tactical turns around changing card hands. Cards can move between allies, and each turn offers a new hand, shifting how party members can contribute.
What is Dream Tactics?
Dream Tactics is a turn-based strategy RPG with card-based combat and character customization.
Build decks for individual characters using more than 100 cards, and trade cards between allies to shape their playstyles. Each character draws a new hand every turn, and points can be spent to redraw cards. Recruit allies and choose up to 4 party members for each battle; characters can play multiple cards in a turn to form combos. Equipment capacity grows with character levels, while each item has a cost to manage.
Battles use terrain that both sides can exploit. The adventure takes place across islands in the Dream World, where exploration can uncover treasures as well as dangers. Neru gathers a team to face the Dream Eater and try to prevent the world's collapse.
