Our take on Polylithic
The bounce point arrives when survival expands into leadership: gathering and hunting are joined by tribespeople's needs, settlement growth, and technology research. Players seeking a direct survival loop may find the transition to tribe management too demanding before Neolithic progression becomes the focus.
What is Polylithic?
Lead a tribe through the transition from Paleolithic hunting and gathering to Neolithic settlement.
Gather resources, craft early tools, hunt animals ranging from rabbits to mammoths, cook recipes with variable results, and keep the body fed, rested, and functional. Research technologies, build villages, manage tribespeople's needs, and guide them as they become Elders. The world includes forests, snowy hills, rapids, rival tribes, and predators. Players can tame dogs or hyenas, seek out other human groups, and play alone or cooperatively with up to 9 friends. Sandbox Mode offers an infinitely generated world, while character customization and campfire emotes provide additional activities.
