Our take on OceanCraft
Rather than placing survival in a conventional land-based setting, OceanCraft centers its play space on a player-built vehicle drifting across the ocean. Base construction, food preparation, island discovery, and defense all take place within that floating setting, giving the genre a maritime structure.
What is OceanCraft?
OceanCraft is a virtual reality survival game set on the ocean, where players live on a vehicle built from gathered materials.
Solo and multiplayer play are available, including cross-platform sessions, public or private games, and voice chat. The gameplay includes collecting ocean waste, expanding a base with structures and storage, growing plants, fishing, preparing food, and managing hunger, thirst, and health. Players can visit islands, search for treasures, recover sunken valuables, and defend the vehicle from storms, fires, and small pirates. Balloon drops and a slingshot add further activities. Save games are supported. The game is in Early Access and currently provides about three hours of gameplay.
