Our take on Demon Loop
The game concentrates on deck choices, repairs, villagers, and repeated loops, so its trade-off is a narrower focus on planning and resource use than on broad, free-form exploration.
What is Demon Loop?
Demon Loop is a digital board game about saving a fantasy land threatened by demons.
Players build a deck across each loop, choosing cards from a personal collection and buying others along the way. Each location has its own starting deck. Buildings such as taverns, barracks, and mines can be repaired, while villagers can be rallied and may join permanently. Players recover loot, use treasure to develop their talents, manoeuvre around opponents, and apply different battle tactics against demon hordes. Exploration reveals new locations, characters, quests, and village stories as players investigate why the demons appeared. The game also includes new items to unlock and a teacher character who guides the demon hunter toward personal goals and quests.
