Our take on Wonhon: A Vengeful Spirit
Possession is the defining mechanic: the protagonist drains Qi, becomes a ghost, and takes over living creatures to turn enemies’ bodies into instruments of revenge.
What is Wonhon: A Vengeful Spirit?
Play as a young Korean girl who returns from death after being killed during a military conflict.
In an alternate 1920s Korea, she bargains with the God of Death for supernatural abilities, including draining Qi, becoming a ghost, and taking control of living creatures. She uses possessed enemies to attack others and gain tactical advantages while infiltrating military bases. Her enemies are dangerous, and injury leaves little room for mistakes, so missions require careful timing alongside direct action. The story also involves helping the spirits of her people reach peace by carrying out the wishes connected to their deaths. The game combines paranormal stealth, possession-based tactics, and revenge-focused action.
