Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a tightly linear adventure may hit a wall when thousands of recorded choices branch the story.
- Those wanting combat-only gameplay may lose interest when progress requires spells, puzzles, bluffing, and deception.
- Players looking for a standalone story may not want to begin with an installment that supports imported characters and choices.
Our take on Sorcery! Part 3
The bounce point arrives when progress depends on managing a large web of remembered decisions rather than following one fixed route. Players who want combat to dominate may also stall at the spellcasting, puzzles, bluffing, and deception layered into the journey.
What is Sorcery! Part 3?
Sorcery!
Part 3 is an open-world narrative adventure set in Kakhabad, a wilderness of deserts, forests, mountains, fissures, monsters, traps, and magic. The journey follows seven serpents, each with distinct tactics and weaknesses, while players can travel through the present, the past, or both using time beacons. Spells, combat, puzzle-solving, bluffing, deception, and dialogue choices shape the unfolding story. Thousands of decisions are recorded and affect the adventure. The game includes thirty new enemies, five gods with different powers, new magic, and a return of the Swindlestones bluffing game with tougher opponents. Characters and choices from Parts 1 and 2 can be imported, or the story can begin with this installment.
