Our take on Sorcery! Parts 1 and 2
Rather than following a fixed quest path, this adventure treats decisions as persistent story data. Rewinding choices, spell effects, and transferable character information replace the more usual one-way progression of a fantasy RPG.
What is Sorcery! Parts 1 and 2?
Sorcery!
Parts 1 and 2 is a fantasy narrative adventure set across the Shamutanti Hills and Kharé, the Cityport of Thieves. Players travel across a hand-drawn 3D map, enter city buildings, battle monsters, and use a sword alongside spells. Combat combines bluffing and striking, with battles narrated procedurally. The story contains extensive written content that changes around player decisions, which remain recorded throughout the adventure. Exploration can be rewound, while Swindlestones matches provide opportunities to seek profit and information. These parts form the first half of a four-part series, with character equipment, statistics, and narrative decisions transferable between parts.
