Our take on HIVESWAP: ACT 2
Its defining structure is a continuing four-part point-and-click story in which imported ACT 1 decisions carry into ACT 2 and can affect later discoveries.
What is HIVESWAP: ACT 2?
HIVESWAP: ACT 2 continues Joey and Xefros’s journey across Alternia, a dangerous alien world populated by trolls with different attitudes toward the protagonists.
The game uses point-and-click adventure structure, hand-drawn 2D animation, exploration, conversations, and problem-solving. Players meet dozens of characters, make friends, address their problems, and face consequences shaped by their choices. ACT 2 is the second entry in a planned four-part story and can import an ACT 1 save to retain previous decisions and potentially reveal hidden secrets. An in-game recap provides the necessary background for players starting with a fresh save. The soundtrack includes orchestral and other original tracks by James Roach and Toby Fox.
