Our take on Sonority
The bounce point arrives when simple note patterns develop into complex musical arrangements. Players who do not enjoy listening for solutions or interpreting musical symbols may stall there, even though previous musical knowledge is not required.
What is Sonority?
Sonority is a puzzle adventure following Esther as she enters the Rockery, a lost world where music can open paths and overcome obstacles.
Players arrange notes into sequences, using sound or symbols to work out each solution; musical training is not required. Esther carries a pan flute and discovers new notes and instruments as the puzzles become more difficult. The journey includes singing stones, a talking raccoon, moss-covered artworks, and a search for the missing preceptors of music. The game presents a connected 3D world with varied locations, a story about Esther and her unusual companion, and original songs in English and German. Keyboard and controller input are supported.
