Play it if you…

- Action players who enjoy fast reactions and hazard avoidance
- Speedrunners who want a dedicated mode for quick completion attempts
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking forgiving platforming may hit a wall when repeated mistakes lead to frequent deaths.
- Players wanting broad exploration or character progression may find the level-focused structure narrow.
- Players looking for collectible items with gameplay effects may stop at the hat collection.
- Players who prefer slower-paced action may bounce off the rapid movement and reaction demands.
Our take on Haiki
The bounce point arrives when repeated errors become the main loop. Players who need forgiving retries or gradual difficulty may hit the wall as precision jumps, hazards, and rapid reactions combine across the more demanding levels.
What is Haiki?
Haiki is a precision platformer built around rapid movement, strict timing, and repeated attempts.
Players control Haiki’s severed head across four worlds, using wall jumps to cross gaps and avoid spikes, lasers, and other hazards. The game contains 80 hand-crafted levels with challenges ranging from introductory stages to extreme tests. Progress depends on precise jumps and quick reactions, with mistakes leading to repeated deaths. A story follows Haiki’s attempt to defeat the headless Baron Nohead and recover his body. Speedrun mode adds a separate challenge for players focused on fast completion. Collectible hats appear throughout the journey, but they have no gameplay effect.
How Haiki plays

- The campaign moves through colour-switching environments with lasers and other platforming hazards.
- 0280 handcrafted levels
- The stages span a broad difficulty range, including challenges described as pure hell.
- 03Speedrun mode
- A dedicated mode supports attempts focused on completing the game quickly.
- 04Cosmetic hat collection
- Hats can be gathered during the journey, but they do not alter Haiki’s abilities.
Haiki compared to similar games
