Our take on Drone Sector
The gunship perspective concentrates play around aerial support and mission command, so ground operations are handled through squads rather than direct control. That trade-off supports an overview of the battlefield but limits the focus on individual soldier actions.
What is Drone Sector?
Operate a futuristic gunship while directing allied squads through hostile environments.
Fire varied weapons from the air, identify high-priority threats, and guide ground units toward mission objectives. Squads can enter buildings and other key areas to gather resources and research documents, but remaining too long increases the risk of losing them. Between missions, upgrade the gunship, squads, and weapons, while managing ammunition production and researching new technologies. The game includes color, night-vision, and thermal camera modes, infantry and armored units, resource collection, squad building, and weapon manufacturing. Missions use handcrafted levels with randomized scenarios, combining air support, troop command, extraction decisions, and progression between operations.
