Our take on Chorus
The page emphasizes a sweeping journey across the galaxy and beyond reality, but its concrete gameplay details center on ship combat, upgrades, and a small set of named abilities. The exploration is framed through locations and atmosphere rather than described as a separate activity with specific systems.
What is Chorus?
Chorus is a single-player space-combat game starring Nara, a former warrior who turns against the cult that created her.
She travels with Forsaken, a sentient starfighter, on a mission to oppose the Circle and its leader while bringing resistance forces together. Gameplay combines zero-gravity dogfights with exploration of locations such as space stations, ancient temples, and strange planes of existence. Nara can acquire weapons and combat upgrades, and use abilities including perception beyond ordinary senses, teleportation, and telekinesis. The ship has a drift mechanic, and powers can be chained during fights against enemy starfighters, large battleships, and Void entities. The story follows Nara and Forsaken across the galaxy and beyond reality as Nara confronts her past.
