Our take on Saints Row®: The Third™ Remastered
Players looking for grounded crime action may bounce off when the game shifts to tank skydiving, satellite-directed strikes, and other deliberately outlandish scenarios. The Saints’ celebrity-brand premise also sets a comic, exaggerated tone rather than a restrained criminal drama.
What is Saints Row®: The Third™ Remastered?
The Saints, once a street gang and now a household name, refuse the Syndicate’s demand for tribute and launch an assault on Steelport, a city controlled by the criminal organization.
Players sabotage its weapons trade, cybercrime operations, and other rackets while battling a Mexican wrestling group and an elite military unit. Set pieces include hovercraft aircraft, cars used as human projectiles, unusual close-combat weapons, skydiving with a tank, and satellite-guided strikes. Saints can be customized, and the campaign supports solo play or online two-player sessions. This remaster revises the visuals, illumination, environments, and effects, and bundles all expansion missions plus over 30 downloadable items from the original game.
