What is Beyond Contact?
Beyond Contact is a top-down science-fiction survival crafting game set on Ketern, an alien planet threatened by dark rifts, hazards, and unstable weather.
Story Mode follows a narrative journey to investigate the planet’s crisis, while Conquest Mode provides open-ended survival, base construction, and battles against the Corrupted. Players scan, mine, collect, and research materials to make tools, weapons, gadgets, structures, and genetically modified plants. Bases use power, oxygen, and heat systems, with habitats providing protected areas for farming and construction. Cooperative play supports shared research and objectives, character-specific abilities, and teammate revival. Exploration includes alien environments, fauna, flora, alien civilizations, and factional non-player characters.
