Our take on Mighty No. 9
Rather than stopping at a conventional solo stage campaign, the game adds online racing and cooperative missions, plus Boss Rush, mini challenges, rankings, and two extra New Game+ difficulty levels.
What is Mighty No. 9?
Play as Beck, the ninth robot in a series, and the only one unaffected by a computer virus that has driven machines into a frenzy.
Run, jump, fire weapons, and gain abilities from defeated enemies across twelve stages. Defeating the other eight Mighty Number robots unlocks new transformations and skills. The single-player campaign includes Challenge mode, Boss Rush, and New Game+, which adds two difficulty levels. Online options include two-player races and cooperative missions featuring Beck and Call. Rankings track scores and S-Ranks, while the soundtrack can be switched between its regular arrangement and an 8-bit version.
