What is Gift?
Gift is a puzzle action game about escaping from a sinking luxury cruise ship.
The protagonist wakes aboard and encounters passengers who seem familiar while trying to get out. As the story advances, parts of the ship change: interiors may tilt, and water levels may differ, altering the layout and the mechanisms in an area. Players use these changes and their actions to solve puzzles. The escape also involves dangers such as incoming waves, falling wood, and hostile passengers; some threats can be avoided, while others may be confronted. Along the way, the protagonist meets other trapped passengers and can support their wishes and emotions. The story leads toward an important encounter.
