What is The Forest of Drizzling Rain?
The Forest of Drizzling Rain is an exploration horror game about Shiori Kanzaki, a college student who visits Azakawa Village after finding an old photograph connected to her parents.
As Shiori explores, she meets the museum curator Kotaro Suga and uncovers the village’s hidden past. The product includes Full Ver. (2022) and Original Ver. (2013), selectable from the launcher at startup. Full Ver. adds a chapter with free village exploration, villager conversations and a fishing minigame, along with new characters, story routes and endings. Completing all endings opens a special scenario. Original Ver. largely retains the earlier release’s content, with some materials changed or replaced. The 2013 version runs on Windows; the 2022 version supports Windows and Mac.
