Saves you a refund- Players who want a tightly scripted dialogue tree with predetermined responses may find the free-form conversations demanding.

- Players wanting the complete ending immediately may not suit the Early Access version, where the ending is still in development.
Our take on Detective Sherlock: Shadow Stalker
The bounce point arrives when conversations replace selectable dialogue menus. Players who rely on clearly labeled prompts must decide what to say, which evidence to present, and how much pressure to apply without a fixed list of intended responses.
What is Detective Sherlock: Shadow Stalker?
Play Sherlock Holmes in 19th-century Dartmoor, where a death near Baskerville Hall revives the legend of a demonic hound.
Investigate further killings by speaking freely with dozens of AI-driven characters rather than selecting fixed dialogue options. Question, deceive, threaten, comfort, bribe, praise, or mislead people whose memories, emotions, secrets, and trust can change during conversations. Find clues and hundreds of items, then use evidence or gifts to influence characters and expose hidden information.
The story responds to spoken words, completed tasks, collected clues, and used items, producing multiple hidden endings. The Early Access version contains 90% of the full game’s content; its ending is still planned for completion during Early Access. It includes full voice acting, subtitles, seven locations, and ten cinematics.
