What is Tempest: Pirate Action RPG?
Tempest is an open-world pirate action RPG focused on real-time sailing and sea battles.
Travel through three regions with dozens of islands, colonies, and forts while completing hundreds of quests. Trade goods by buying cheaply and selling at higher prices, or attack merchant ships, warships, and forts. Ship customization covers the flag, sails, hull, and figurehead, while crew members gain levels as they progress. Combat uses cannons, mortars, flamethrowers, mystical crystals, meteor strikes, and summoned creatures. Multilevel “legends” quests lead to valuable artifacts. Encounters include rival pirates, cult followers, the Kraken, Leviathan, and other mythical monsters. Multiplayer supports shared exploration, trading, quests, and player warfare. Multiplayer is optional, with the game also supporting play as a lone pirate.
