Play it if you…
Good fit- Colony-management players who want to assign tasks while directly controlling one worker at a time

Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players who want direct control of every civilian at once may find the one-worker control limit restrictive.

- Players looking for a puzzle game or a turn-based military strategy game may want a different type of gameplay.
Our take on Ruins to Rumble
The one-worker-at-a-time control scheme makes role switching part of managing the colony, but limits direct oversight of individual civilians. Permanent deaths add another constraint: expanding the faction also means managing the risk of losing experienced workers.
What is Ruins to Rumble?
Ruins to Rumble is a 2D side-scrolling colony-management game set in a sandbox world.
Gather resources to build a base, assign roles to civilians, and set their work areas. The player controls one civilian at a time, switching between workers to manage the island. Recruit civilians as the faction expands, and defend against AI-controlled invaders. Explore islands, encounter other factions, and choose whether to build relations or attack and take resources. Civilian experience grows over time, but deaths are permanent. New biomes, including deserts and icy areas, bring different restrictions and challenges as the civilization grows and its enemies increase.
