Our take on None Shall Intrude
The Raid Boss premise receives strong emphasis, but the moment-to-moment structure is a run-based deck-builder with branching map choices, tile combinations, and repeated growth after death. The fantasy of ruling the world is therefore framed through build management and combat systems rather than a broad conquest simulation.
What is None Shall Intrude?
None Shall Intrude is a roguelite deck-builder centered on tile-based combat.
Players take the role of a Raid Boss whose soul remains tied to the land after death, allowing each new life to provide further growth. Runs follow branching routes across a map, with regions containing different environments, obstacles, creatures, and foes. Combat uses primordial elements and 18 possible tile interactions, while cards, relics, and talent-tree choices shape each build. The boss has 3 phases and can unlock 24 powers through in-game achievements. Up to 4 Boss Mechanics can be combined for a personalized setup, with relics adding further effects to elemental tile interactions.

Shogun Showdown also combines turn-based combat, attack tiles, deck construction, and roguelike progression. None Shall Intrude centers on a Raid Boss with elemental tile interactions, 3 phases, talent customization, relics, and up to 4 Boss Mechanics, while Shogun Showdown focuses on positioning, attack-tile upgrades, skills, and facing the Shogun. The other listed alternatives describe jigsaw puzzles, World War II command, prison escape, or alien-defense gameplay rather than the same deck-building combat scope.
