Our take on Luck & Loot
The defining mechanic is dice construction: interchangeable faces determine each die’s capabilities, making every run a process of reshaping the dice set while managing limited power and risk.
What is Luck & Loot?
Luck & Loot is a turn-based roguelike focused on building and customizing dice.
Players choose one of three heroes, alter dice by swapping and upgrading their faces, and shape a build during runs through six procedurally generated dungeons. Combat combines strategic decisions with random rolls, high-risk modifiers, and enemies including creatures and bosses. Runs also contain random events and relics that can create different loot synergies. Each dungeon is dominated by a formidable foe. The game presents a dark fantasy setting with pixel visuals and chiptune audio, including haunted forests, corrupted keeps, and cursed realms. Listed content includes four customizable dice, 20+ dice upgrades, 18+ difficulty modifiers, 50+ relics, and 90+ interchangeable and upgradeable dice faces.
