Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking real-time combat may bounce off the turn-by-turn attack and counterattack structure
- Players who want predictable combat may dislike attack strength being determined by dice rolls
- Players looking for a fixed campaign may find the generative dungeon and repeated-run structure unsuitable
- Players who prefer direct character control may not enjoy fighting through enemy cards
Our take on Dice & Fold
Players who need predictable combat will hit the wall when a dice result determines attack strength, especially as monster cards prepare counterattacks at the end of each turn. Those seeking a fixed campaign may also stop at the generative dungeon and repeated-run structure.
What is Dice & Fold?
Dice & Fold is a turn-based dungeon crawler where dice rolls provide the only way to attack enemy cards.
The result determines attack strength, while monster cards can counterattack at the end of each turn. Players choose which enemies to fold, select companions, and combine them with hero skills to create different ability combinations. More than 35 classes offer distinct abilities and playstyles. A generative dungeon system presents unexpected challenges and rewards. Between stages, players choose items that can improve dice rolls, class abilities, or add new effects. Defeat grants meta upgrades and currencies for later runs, while deckbuilding and class combinations support repeated attempts.
