Our take on RefleX
The store copy gives substantial space to the series’ reputation and story history, while the playable scope described here is a compact eight-stage shooter with Arcade and Training modes. The campaign’s fixed stage count is easier to spot in the feature list than in the broader introduction.
What is RefleX?
RefleX is a Japanese shooting game set during a war between the Global Unified Army, the Valkyness resistance, and the alien Raiwat.
The conflict leaves Earth devastated and leads into the events of KAMUI. Opponents include army forces, Raiwat invaders, and living devices. The game includes Arcade and Training modes, plus a soundtrack mode that can be unlocked.
