Holding the attack button lets Cham run and gain momentum for difficult jumps. Each stage contains hidden keys, power-ups, and secrets; collecting every key opens an unlockable bonus level. Additional bonus stages use a shoot-'em-up style. The game includes a save system and checkpoints within stages. Its presentation uses 8-bit visuals, sounds, and chiptune music to recreate the feel of early handheld gaming. A secret boss is also part of the treasure hunt.
