Our take on Revolgear Zero
Rather than keeping the shooter structure focused only on firing and dodging, the game adds extensive equipment mixing, multiple endings, challenge missions, local co-op, and a rule-altering Boost Mode.
What is Revolgear Zero?
Revolgear Zero is an arcade-style shoot ’em up featuring two pilots and customizable space fighters.
Players move through seven stages across four difficulty levels, fighting enemy waves and bosses while combining weapons such as boomerang-style melee attacks, flamethrowers, and burst lasers. More than 2,000 equipment combinations support different ship builds. The game includes two main modes with six possible endings, a Mission mode containing 30 challenges, and Boost Mode for altered rules and score-focused play. Local co-op is available, with an AI partner in certain modes. Shizuku and Akane have voice-acted dialogue that changes by situation. Keyboard, mouse, and gamepad controls are supported. An unlockable shop uses in-game currency, and the package also includes the bonus game God of Cats.
