We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Local multiplayer groups seeking fast competitive matches
- Solo players who want a campaign or bot-supported sessions
- Action-game fans who enjoy reflex-based combat with hazards
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking slow exploration or a measured pace may bounce off the fast deathmatch format.
- Players who dislike repeated reflex contests may hit a wall when matches demand rapid movement, shot timing, and shield use.
- Players looking for online multiplayer may not fit a game centered on local matches.
Our take on ChargeShot
Players seeking a measured experience may hit a wall when matches begin, since survival depends on rapid movement, shot timing, shield reflection, and hazard awareness. The local competitive focus may also deter players expecting a primarily solo game rather than a deathmatch title with a single-player campaign.
What is ChargeShot?
ChargeShot is a local-multiplayer space-bounty-hunter deathmatch game centered on fast reflexes.
Players use Pulsar Cannons that fire blasts bouncing off walls and instantly destroying anything they hit. Energy Shields can reflect those blasts and knock opponents into dangerous hazards, while jetpacks provide rapid movement across the battlefield. Matches support up to four players, and bots can join sessions. The game includes distinct modes, 12 levels that affect gameplay, a single-player campaign, unlockable characters and levels, leaderboards, achievements, trading cards, and dynamic music. Players can compete against friends or enemies in local matches, or play alone through the campaign.
