RPGIs Push For Emor worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- FPS players who want planetary and space combat rather than a ground-only campaign
- RPG players who want an open-world science-fiction setting spanning 11 planets
- Players interested in combat and construction who want to build and defend resource facilities
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a tightly linear campaign may find the multi-planet open-world structure less suitable.
- Players looking for combat without construction, resource gathering or base defense may find the mixed structure distracting.
- Players seeking a medieval or contemporary setting may not want a science-fiction conflict between interstellar factions.
Our take on Push For Emor
Its defining structure is the combination of planetary liberation missions with space travel, ship boarding and governor battles across five solar systems.
What is Push For Emor?
Push For Emor is a science-fiction first-person shooter RPG with light real-time strategy building, playable on a monitor or in virtual reality.
Its mission-driven campaign spans 11 planets across five solar systems. Travel between worlds through warp gates, fight on planets and in space, and board disabled enemy ships to search their wrecks. On resource planets, construct mining facilities, power plants and space ports, then defend them against indigenous populations and Emorian forces. The campaign also involves gaining local support, finding weapons on planets and confronting the governors who control each system. A home space station provides places to upgrade weapons and spacecraft and assemble away teams.
How Push For Emor plays
- 01Disabled Ship Boarding
- Players can enter enemy vessels that remain intact after space combat and search them for items and upgrades.
- 02Mining Base Construction
- Resource planets allow construction of mines, power plants and space ports, along with defenses such as barracks and guard towers.
- 03Monitor And VR
- The game supports monitor play and virtual reality, including Oculus DK2.
